Hello

Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve written on here. I guess it’s about time for an update. I got a new phone which has a WordPress app, so this will be much easier to keep up with than on my blackberry, where I had to go to the website and have it take forever.

Anyways, life is okay. I’m still at the same job and in the same apartment. My job isn’t too bad, though sometimes it can be quite the pressure-cookery. Like today and all last week, for example. So, I work for a foreclosure firm where I prepare judgments, update client websites, request VA appraisals, send HUD letters and request BPOs, among other things. I used to go to the courthouse every day on top of all that, but now they have me going once a week, as needed. While I miss all the people there, it sure makes life a lot less stressful in the ‘dont fall behind on work’ department.

Today, we had a judgment meeting to go over judgment production and I feel a little frustrated about it. My boss seemed rather displeased about how many files I have at my desk. What does she expect when they pile loads and loads of work on me and then take away my overtime? I was doing just fine getting 5-6 judgments out a week, going to the courthouse and doing all my other work done when I could work overtime. Then they take it all away and wonder why I’m falling behind? Oh well. Things have switched up a bit to where I can do it all now, so that will help. I’ve been tasked with getting 20-25 judgments done a week, though in the same conversation she said she wants me to get 17 done today. Ummmmm. Right. Well, I will try. I did 14 simple JEs this morning, but that’s because I came in at 5am and didn’t do any of my other work. I guess I can pop out a bunch more this afternoon and not do any of my other stuff. Granted, the 17 she wants me to do aren’t the simple ones I did this morning, so we’ll see if I can do it or not. I’ve got 5 hours.

Well, break is over. Wish me luck, world.
