Yay! I’m done Christmas shopping! I think. lol. I finally figured out what to get Troy for Christmas and when I was wandering the mall today I found the perfect thing to put in his stocking. Now all that’s left is Christmas dinner. I must say, I’m very pleased.
Usually, I like to wander around Christmas craft shows and stuff like that to find some of the presents, but that isn’t quite working out this year. They have some fun stuff set up like that at the mall, but it’s not quite the same. And Troy is the only person here I’m buying gifts for, so it would be kinda pointless. So, internet shopping it is. I wasn’t planning on Christmas shopping today, but I had some time to kill while I was playing phone tag with the college admissions guy. Then I decided just to get it all done in one day and voila! All done!
It’s kinda nice having present bought for people. I know Christmas isn’t about the presents and the money spent. I just like getting people stuff because I like how happy it makes them. And I like watching people open the presents. So, I buy presents. It makes them happy and it makes me happy.
I wish I’d already started shopping for Christmas! I already know what craft projects I have to get started on and my list will make for a crazy weekend or two coming up. I think I’m lucky though, for thhings I need to ship, we have a home business so I can print my own labels and send things off without having to wait at the post office! 😀
