So, I’m still sleeping on the couch. Tonight will be two weeks since I haven’t been able to sleep in my bedroom. While it is a bit of an inconvenience to have all of my clothes and things hanging around the house and be crashing on the couch, I do feel a lot better than when I was sleeping in my bedroom, so I can’t complain too much. I’m sleeping mostly through the night and I wake up feeling refreshed.
As far as the repairs go, we have no idea when it will happen. Jeremy, our realtor, called me on Monday and said they were still working out the price and that someone else may need to come look at the damage. *sigh* I’ve given up trying to understand the circles people go in around here.
Going back to the guy who said he was going to do repairs at 6am last Monday, turns out he really DID lie to me. I talked to Jeremy about nobody showing up that morning and he called the guy who then told him that he never said he was coming to do repairs. Troy and I were both irritated about that, but oh well.
So, as of now, nothing has changed and we have no idea what is going on. Jeremy said repairs SHOULD be started by the middle of next week, but we all know how Malaysia rolls. It could be another three weeks. But, at least they are working on it.
