How Life Is Going

How life is going:

Life is pretty good. I’m almost over bronchitis, so I’m pretty excited about that. Still getting worn out pretty easily and can’t run very much, but other than that I feel pretty normal.

What I loved about the past week:

Last week was a little crazy because I felt pretty awful at the beginning of the week, but by the end of the week I was feeling pretty good. The bad thing is that as soon as I started feeling better I realized I had two weeks worth of homework to do in a few days. My teachers had all been really nice about me deferring homework and tests for a week so I could get better, so I was really happy about that. It was just a little stressful trying to get it all done once I started feeling better. But, everything worked out really well. I got an A- on my math test (seriously, i almost cried i was so happy) and a B on my Political Science test and then my Art History teacher very awesomely postponed the essay for a week. Yay! Once I didn’t have to worry about that anymore most of my stress vanished and I was able to bust out the rest of my homework and have it done early Saturday evening. Woohoo!

What I did this weekend:

This past weekend was General Conference for my church. Yep, I’m a Mormon. haha. I spent part of Saturday and Sunday watching the conference sessions on my computer. Between sessions on Saturday we went to JC Penney so Troy could get some new work shirts. Kind of a futile trip cuz he didn’t look at the kinds of shirt he needed, so he just grabbed a few and we came home. I actually got a lot done on Saturday. I got all of the laundry washed and folded, got both bathrooms cleaned, washed all the bedsheets and remade the beds, vacuumed the whole house, scrubbed the kitchen and finished up my homework. Oh, and I made biscuits and gravy. lol. Love that stuff. Sunday was spent watching conference and relaxing. It was a great weekend.

What I’m looking forward to:

The end of the semester! Four weeks left and then finals! This semester has gone by so fast and I’m super excited about it. I graduate in one month and two days!!!!!! With honors!!!!! Woohoo! I was worried my math class would drop me from honors, but with doing so well on my last test, I’m now up to a solid B instead of barely hanging on to a B-. All the rest of my classes are A’s, so as long as I don’t screw anything up, I’ll definitely be graduating with honors next month. Yay!

My plans for this week:

Not too much. I have another test on Friday and then ANOTHER one next Wednesday, so I’ve got a lot of studying to do. And I have to write that essay. I’m pretty much going to spend the week doing that. I keep thinking I’m going to start exercising again this week, but I’m not sure I’m up for it yet. My energy levels are pretty low still, so I think I’ll just do some short walks this week to build back up to busting it out at the gym.

What I’m nervous about:

I dunno. I don’t feel too nervous about anything right now. I should be stressing about my test on Friday because I’m totally not prepared for it, but I still have several days to study, so I probably won’t start stressing until Friday morning. lol

What I’ve been daydreaming about:

Sleep. lol. I woke up from a dream about sleeping this morning and just laid there imagining myself asleep. Crazy, right? But that seems to be the thing on my mind the most anymore. I just feel tired all the time and debate whether or not I should take a nap.

How school is going:

Pretty darn good. 🙂 My grades are still really good and I’m all caught up from when I was sick, so things are back on schedule and I’m feeling great about it.

How my running is going:

It’s not. I haven’t been running in almost a month now. I feel pretty sad about it, but I just don’t have the energy. A few days ago I tried walking a little circuit around my house and had to stop after a few minutes because it just wore me out so much. But, I’ll get back into it. I’m not giving up.

What book I’m reading:

Hollow City. It’s book 2 of Miss Peregrine’s School for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. It’s a really interesting book and I’m liking it so far.

What else is new:

Not a whole lot. Just getting back on track with life and trying to get caught up on my blog. I’m going to have a new post up on my other blog tonight, so be sure to check that out either tonight or in the morning.

Well, I guess that’s it for my thoughts about this upcoming week. It’s going to be a good week, test and all!

Is there anything you’re looking forward to this week?
