Port Jackson, Sydney

When Troy and I went to Australia in May we had the opportunity to go to the Taronga Zoo, which included a boat ride through Sydney Harbour to get there. Once we got to the zoo and wandered around a bit we found a bird show that had the most AMAZING backdrop. The backdrop to the bird show was the picturesque Port Jackson.

I still can’t believe how pretty the view was from the zoo. The water, the trees, the buildings. They all fit together so well to make this perfect landscape of wonder. The way the colors of the buildings mesh so well with the ocean and the sky and how brilliant the green is on the trees. And then there’s the bridge popping up to add a unique cast to the scene. I think it all is just absolutely fabulous. I would love to have this be the view from my living room window. Imagine how fascinating it is during a thunderstorm.
